Injectable Dermal Thickeners

Dermal thickeners are commonly used to correct facial volume loss, specifically aligned to the natural aging process.

Dermal thickeners are used exclusively to stimulate and create the skins own Collagen, so unlike other Dermal Fillers, does not yield immediate results.

Although the body begins to respond immediately after t-ment, it takes 1-2 months before the skin starts to feel thicker, hollows dramatically diminish, and wrinkles begin to disappear.

This is not a mechanical filling of wrinkles and folds, but a buttress and fills to concave hollows.

Exceptional results have been achieved with treatment of HIV patients, who typically develop Lipo-atrophy (exaggerated sunken facial volume.)

Because of this gradual process of correction, the results are visually subtle and particularly natural.

The optimal effect is usually very evident a few months after treatment.

The amount of treatments required vary from 2 to 5, (approximately 8 weeks apart) depending on the level of correction required.

The Dermal Thickening therapy treatments, have a much greater longevity factor than most Dermal Fillers, and require “maintenance” touch up’s usually only every 18 months to 2 years
